The Neuro-Abudance Way…
…is the intention of supporting neurodiversity in the world and working to make a safer place where all people with all neurotypes can feel set up for success and thrive!
At NACC, we LOVE transparency and knowing what to expect. We hope that this page helps you feel like you know what you are walking into, before you ever step foot on the premises.

Neuro-Affirming Practices we offer:
-
We are extra proud of this support. Click on the New Client Questionaire located in the top right corner, answer the questions, and send it off. Kyrie will reach out to you via email and set up a consultation with you, without having to make a single phone call-you can have your therapy all set up!
-
NACC offers sessions in-person, virtually (HIPPA compliant), or of a hybrid nature or combination of both. We’re flexible; whatever works for you!
-
While the office building is shared by others, Kyrie's particular office has many things intentionally chosen to help protect sound from distracting the session, as well as offering a calm and quiet experience to feel grounded in.
-
We have a lot of flexible ways that we support humans with different sensory needs.
Lights and Sound: The office has dimmable lighting as well as having the option of no lights at all if that feels grounding. In addition, if sound is a sensitivity, I am happy to alter my tone or volume to better accomodate your needs.
Flexible Seating: It is common for clients to have different needs around what feels most comfortable, some clients prefer sitting or laying on the couch, others prefer sitting on the floor or moving around in session. It does not matter what it looks like, to me, it matters if you feel comfortable in your body!
Fidgets: This office has fidgets galore! From Putty, to slime, to magnet based or silicon...we love to provide tools to help clients feel engaged and stimulated.
Weighted Items: We have two choices for weighted items at this time in the office, as well as a normal blanket. We want you to do what is needed for your nervous system regulation.
-
Forgot to eat lunch today and had to blast to session? Bring lunch and have it with Kyrie in session. Fitting in things like nutrition can be so hard to faciliate with neurodiversity! But we care that you are well fed and think that is a great way to practice self-care!
-
The office is on the second floor and not accessible to those who would need supports accessing the second floor. To support this, I apologize because I know that this is not accessible to everyone. I offer online services and hope to someday get an office that does support this need.
Other flexible options for physical abilities and needs in the room include having session on the floor instead of the couch, feeling the need to move around when having session or requiring sensory supports like fidgets and weighted things, which we have!! (We think our fidget collection is rather impressive!)
-
NACC considers on time within about 5 minutes of the start time, so if you are running late, we would rather you not stress and know that there is a cushion for you because time is hard.
Our software also has options for session reminders and other helpful notifications because remembering all the things all the time, is also hard!

Getting here
-
Please feel free to park along the street if there is a place available. There is also a parking lot across the street that offers free parking for an hour. I have not had any clients have any issues in utilizing this lot for their session. There is also a free lot that is located on Liberty Street behind our neighbors' building.

Neuro-Abundance Counseling Center is located on the second floor. Please help yourself into the building and head upstairs when you arrive, quietly as there are other practitioners who share the space. Have a seat on the bench or one of the chairs and Kyrie will come out and get you when she is ready for session.
